Alamo Drafthouse founder Tim League is a man of many hobbies, and his collection of movie poster printing plates blossomed into the concept for Alamo’s Manhattan theater bar. On select days guests can visit The Press Room, pick a letterpress plate from the crowded walls, and have a poster hand-printed onsite. They can then hop over to the bartop and craft a bespoke cocktail following a similar-but-different process. This menu design was inspired by Alamo creative director Chris Bilheimer's bar logo and his mid-century printing infographics hanging around the space.
