When a business hires a Top Chef finalist and Michelin-starred chef as VP of Food & Beverage, it’s only a matter of time before a new menu request rolls across the Graphic Designer’s desk. For this project I spent many initial planning meetings with leadership discussing items to prioritize, settling on printing preferences, and fighting for my position on menu photos (unnecessary in an in-theater menu seen under low lighting — and I’ll say it again!). Once the logistics were straightened out, I took my compiled findings and applied them to what would become a three-color 14” x 8.5” wipeable, waterproof menu.
